About Shasta Pool Supply Stores become part of Leslie's Poolmart Inc.
Shasta has made the strategic decision to sell our six retail stores in the Phoenix valley to Leslie's Poolmart Inc. The decison was primarily made with our customers in mind and to establish the benefit of having pool supply centers closer to our Shasta Pool owners. With 62+ stores in the valley, our customers will be able to conveniently go into any of the Leslie's stores for water testing, pool supplies, chemicals and more. To top it off, Shasta Pool customers will be able to make pool purchases through their online website, LesliePools.com.
Overall, Shasta Pools & Spas is very excited to they have taken the steps necessary to place retail supply stores closer to all their pool owners. Having the Shasta Pool Supply stores become part of the Leslie's Swimming Pool Supplies organization makes it more convenient for our customers to buy the supplies they need closer to home.
About Leslie's: As the nation's largest chain of swimming-pool-supply stores in 35 states, it sells products through a catalog and Internet site. Last year it recorded about $500 million in sales. Leslie's has grown from 383 stores in 2000 to almost 750 this year. That includes about 60 that will be opened over the next few months. The purchase of six stores from Shasta Pool & Spas will result in 62 Leslie's stores in the Phoenix area, as well as 14 others in Arizona.
