About Shasta Pools & Spas is excited to announce a great relationship with Leslie's Poolmart Inc.
Shasta has made the strategic decision to sell our six retail stores in the Phoenix valley to Leslie's Poolmart Inc. The decison was primarily made with our customers in mind and their benefit as pool owners. With 62 stores in the valley, our customers will be able to conveniently go into any of hte Leslie's stores for water testing, pool supplies, chemicals and more. To top it off, Shasta Pool customers will be able to make pool purchases through their online website, LesliePools.com.
Overall, Shasta Pools & Spas is excited to offer excellent customer service and further differentiation in the marketplace through this exciting partnership.
About Leslie's: As the nation's largest chain of swimming-pool-supply stores in 35 states, it sells products through a catalog and Internet site. Last year it recorded about $500 million in sales. Leslie's has grown from 383 stores in 2000 to almost 750 this year. That includes about 60 that will be opened over the next few months. The purchase of six stores from Shasta Pool & Spas will result in 62 Leslie's stores in the Phoenix area, as well as 14 others in Arizona.
